Platform Architecture

At it’s core, Observability Platform is Amazon Managed Grafana, which offers a fully managed single pane of glass view of onboarded account’s Amazon CloudWatch, and other SaaS services which offer an integration, such as GitHub or Sentry.

Additionally Observability Platform also offers:

• Integration with Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus

• Integration with AWS X-Ray.

• Alerting with PagerDuty and Slack.

Environments

Observability Platform has two environments:

• development

• production, a.k.a alpha

All non-production workloads (e.g. development, test, preproduction) will publish to development.

All production workloads (e.g production) will publish to alpha.

Observability Platform is deployed to Modernisation Platform, the source is available here.
